List of Pashtuns

The following is an incomplete list of notable Pashtuns.[1] The list includes those born to parents who are both Pashtuns and those who have mixed Pashtun ancestry. Pashtun people are usually defined as predominantly an Eastern Iranian people, who use Pashto, an eastern Iranic language, as their first language, and live in Afghanistan and Pakistan. They are those who practice Pashtunwali. This is the generally accepted academic view.
