List of Classified Structures

The List of Classified Structures ("LCS") was a National Park Service database of buildings, roads, monuments, artifacts, and other objects at/near United States National Parks (e.g., tablets in towns near the Gettysburg National Military Park). The database classified the structures by location, type, historical contribution, etc.; and identifies each by structure, LCS, and database record numbers, e.g., Acadia National Park BLDG0001 is a historic district contributing structure (1931 guardhouse/lodge) with "LCS ID" 006582 and RECORDNO=30.

In 2020, the database was merged into the Cultural Resources Inventory System (CRIS). It replaces three legacy inventory systems: ASMIS (Archeological Site Management Information System), CLI (Cultural Landscape Inventory), and LCS (List of Classified Structures), and reinstates the ERI (Ethnographic Resource Inventory). The Historic Structures section will be called CRIS-HS.
