Gameplay

The player can input commands and selects a target on the battle screen. Each characters can perform on the action phase. The order is based on status. The damage is shown for "Tactical Arts System". Instead of the 'Fight' command for physical attacks, the player specifies the location of each one; 'Right' and 'Left' strike with the arms, and 'High' and 'Low' correspond to high or low strikes. Each direction has abilities, depending on opponents for the player to use skills. If the character moves, they perform a string of attacks with random input. The gauge increases for each turn. The number of strikes is used and affected by several factors. Weapons are used for characters and offending combos called "Arts", deal more damage than normal attacks. The player can reveal Arts for characters. "Arts Points" (AP) uses Arts, draining AP in quantity and is proportionate to combo length. The character performs art sequences for combos without damage bonus. AP can be earned in three ways, such as dealing physical damage without Arts, damaging opponents or foregoing actions for one turn to use Spirit. Arts can be linked by each inputs. The Art ending can linked with another Art, starting with 'Down', for the player to use two Arts in a row costing fewer inputs. For spirits, each characters use defensive stances for a turn, increase the chance, regain AP and boost the length of the action bar for the next physical attack. Some boss battles involve enemies after the characters use the Spirit. Each characters can strengthen the power of Ra-Seru, allowing the human to absorb powers of Seru defeated in battle. The human uses it to level up and cause effects. The Seru possess elemental affinities, depending what type of attacks in battle, and Ra-Seru casts the affinity of random spells.[1]

Plot

The game is set in the eponymous world, humans use objects called Seru. They unite and use fantastic powers. While they exist, the mist appears and upsets the Seru, which transforms humans into monsters. Ten years later, human survivors band together to stop the mist, using immune entities called Ra-Seru. After destroying the Mist Generators and reviving Genesis Trees, Vahn defeats Gala's rival Songi, and Noa's brother, Cort is reincarnated into an infant.
