Lakes District Technocity

The Lakes District Technocity(established in 2004) is a science park located on the campus of Süleyman Demirel University. The technocity is a full member of International Association of Science Parks.[1] The science park occupies 112000 squaremeters area.[2]

The activities of the technocity include Energy and Renewable Energy, Internet Technology and Services / E-Business, Plasma Technology, and Environment Technologies.

As of 2010, 57% of firms on the tecnocity involved in the area of computer software industry.[3]

History

The technocity made its first export(plasma sensors to Saudi Arabia) in 2008.[4]
