Kishore Upadhyaya

Kishore Upadhyaya is an Indian National Congress politician from Uttarakhand and a two term Member of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly. He was twice elected from Tehri assembly constituency in the 2002 and 2007 assembly elections. In 2012 Assembly election, he lost to Dinesh Dhanai an Independent candidate with a margin of just 377 votes.[1] He served as the Minister of state for Industrial development under N. D. Tiwari Chief ministership from 2002 to 2004.

He was the President of Uttarakhand Pradesh Congress Committee or Uttarakhand PCC from 2014 to 2017. He took over from Yashpal Arya.[2][3]
