Kingdom of Sus

The Kingdom of Sus was the name given to the southwestern part of Morocco before the establishment of the French and the Spanish protectorates, with its capital at Taroudannt.

Under the Alaouite dynasty, the Kingdom of Sus was one of the four traditional States of the King of Morocco, along with the Kingdom of Marrakesh, the Kingdom of Fez and the Kingdom of Tafilalt.
