King's African Rifles Long Service and Good Conduct Medal

The King's African Rifles Long Service and Good Conduct Medal was approved in March 1907[1] to recognise long service and good conduct by members of the King's African Rifles. Initially, the period of qualifying service for members to be eligible to receive the medal was 18 years, but in March 1933 it was reduced to 16 years.[2] Members of the King's African Rifles who were awarded the King's African Rifles Long Service and Good Conduct Medal received no post-nominals from it. The award was discontinued after 1942.[1]
