Kelsey Wog

Kelsey Lauren Wog (born September 19, 1998) is a Canadian breaststroke swimmer.[3]

Career

International Swimming League

In fall 2019 Wog signed with the Cali Condors in the inaugural ISL season. The Cali Condors were one of four ISL teams to make the final in Las Vegas. In the 200m breaststroke event on the first day of the final, Kelsey Wog earned a second place finish, with a time of 2:18.06. Cali Condors finished 3rd overall. In spring 2020, Wog signed for the Toronto Titans, the first Canadian based team in the ISL.

World Championships

Wog was a finalist at the Gwangju 2019 FINA World Championships.[4] She won a silver medal in the 200 m breaststroke at the 2016 FINA World Swimming Championships (25 m).[5]

Other

Wog was a 4 x finalist at the 2018 Pan Pacific Championships in Tokyo.[6] At the 2016 Junior Pan Pacific Swimming Championships in Maui, Wog captured two individual medals. She earned silver in the 200-m breaststroke and bronze in the 100-m breaststroke. She also contributed to a silver medal in the 4×100-m medley relay with teammates Danielle Hanus, Rebecca Smith and Sarah Darcel.[7]
