Josip Aladrović

Josip Aladrović (born 10 March 1985) is a Croatian economist and politician who has been serving as the Minister of Labour and Pension System, Family and Social Policy in the Government of Croatia since 23 July 2020.[1]

Biography

Josip Aladrović was born in Pleternica as the son of Marijan, a former prefect of Požega-Slavonia County and the current president of Pleternica city council.[1] He attended secondary school in Požega, and graduated from the University of Zagreb Faculty of Economics.[2][3]

After he worked as the director of the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute (HZMO) between 2017 and 2020, Aladrović was named the Minister of Labour and Pension System in the first cabinet of Andrej Plenković following the resignation of Marko Pavić, who took the role of the Minister of Regional Development and EU Funds.[4]

On 23 July 2020, following the 2020 election, Aladrović sworn in as the Minister of Labour and Pension System, Family and Social Policy.[5]
