Jessica Green (born February 11, 1993) is an Australian actress, known for her regular appearances as Australian television fantasy teen drama Lightning Point, as Cleopatra in the Netflix series Roman Empire and as Talon in The Outpost

Not to be confused with Jessica Green American scientist/engineer.

Life and career

Jessica Green was born on the island of Tasmania, Australia. Green was just sixteen in 2012 when because of her excellence in martial arts, she landed the role of Kiki for 26 episodes of Australian television fantasy teen drama series Lightning Point.[1] Despite having minimal training in acting to begin with, Jessica acquired considerable acting experience after spending six months with an acting coach during filming of the series.[1] In 2014, Green appeared as Amber in the Australian crime drama film Rise,[2] and as Rebecca in the 2016 supernatural horror film Red Billabong.[3] In 2018, Green landed a main role as Cleopatra in series 2 of Roman Empire - Julius Caesar: Master of Rome. Between 2018 and 2020, Green was busy playing the character Talon in 36 episodes of The Outpost. Green purportedly takes part in all the stunts and fight scenes which she enjoys, despite many times resulting in sprains and minor injuries.[4] Green employs a strict fitness regime with well disciplined daily training and maintains a healthy diet and lifestyle.[5]

Jessica Green attended the 45th Saturn Awards at the Avalon Hollywood, Los Angeles in 2019,[6] to represent The Outpost,[7] which was nominated for Best Fantasy Television Series 2019, losing out to Game of Thrones.[8]
