Jesse Rivest

Jesse Rivest is a Canadian singer-songwriter. His main instruments are voice and guitar. As of 2020, he resides in Brazil and previously lived in New Zealand.[1]

Biography

In 2005, Jesse Rivest was accepted as a "Best Newcomer Finalist" in the Calgary Folk Music Festival Songwriting Contest for his song Deadbeat Blues.[2]

In 2007, he was the subject of a 40-minute live interview (with performance) on Radio New Zealand National (Jim Mora).[3]

Performance style

His writing and performing style is a fusion of blues, rock, folk, and country.
