In 2015, Brown landed the recurring role of Evangeline "Evie" Murphy in season 2 and season 3 of HBO's The Leftovers.[6][7] Evie is the daughter of Erika and John who goes missing with her friends after an earthquake.[8] Following The Leftovers, Brown was cast as Nina, Cameron's new girlfriend, on Freeform's Stitchers.[9]

Brown went on to play series regular character, Emilia Bassano, on the TNT drama series Will, which told the story of a young William Shakespeare. Emilia was a musician, poet, and writer, who went on to become the first female professional English poet and was believed to be the "Dark Lady" of Will’s sonnets.[10]

Brown is a series regular in the Shondaland drama, For the People on ABC. The series is set in the Southern District of New York Federal Court, aka "The Mother Court".[11] It follows brand-new lawyers working for both the defense and the prosecution, as they handle the most high-profile and high-stakes cases in the country – all as their personal lives intersect. Jasmin stars as lawyer "Allison Adams", who is Sandra’s Britt Robertson roommate, best friend from law school and now colleague in the Federal’s Public Defender’s Office. The series premiered March 13, 2018.[12] and was picked up for a second season spring of 2018.
