Jacques Auxiette

Jacques Auxiette (born 3 December 1940 in Montlevicq, France) is a French politician, and was the Regional Council President for the Pays de la Loire region in France.[1] Auxiette was president between 2004 and 2015,[2] and was re-elected to the office in the March 2010 council elections.[3] He is a member of the PS.[4]

He is one of the strongest opponents of the reunification of Loire-Atlantique to its historical region, Brittany.[5]
