Jack McLean (American rugby player)

Jack McLean born in Paoli, Pennsylvania is an American professional rugby union player. He plays as a flanker for the Old Glory DC in Major League Rugby.

McLean attended Conestoga High School where he played rugby sevens. Upon graduating in 2015, he attended Penn State University through 2019, graduating with a bachelor's degree in Corporate Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

While at Penn State, McLean started as a flanker and captained their 15s rugby team. He led the Nittany Lions to the D1A regional championships in the spring where they were defeated by eventual national champions Life.[1] McLean was an All Rugby East Forwards Honorable Mention, playing rugby sevens at the Collegiate Rugby Championship and also for the Atlantis Sevens team.

On 6 August 2019, he signed a professional rugby contract with Old Glory DC during the 2020 MLR season.[2]
