Jack Goohsen

Jack Goohsen (born November 7, 1942)[1]) is a farmer and former political figure in Saskatchewan, Canada. He represented Maple Creek from 1991 to 1995 and Cypress Hills from 1995 to 1999 in the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan as a Progressive Conservative and then independent member.

He was born in Gull Lake, Saskatchewan and studied agricultural management at the University of Saskatchewan. Goohsen established a farm in the Gull Lake area. He served on the council for the rural municipality of Carmichael, serving as reeve from 1981 to 1992. He sat as an independent after the remaining Progressive Conservative members formed the Saskatchewan Party.
