Jack Britton (footballer)

John ' Jock ' Britton (born 18 March 1900, date of death 1953) was a professional footballer who played for Albion Rovers, Dundee, Tottenham Hotspur and Celtic.[1]

Football career

Born in Lennoxtown,Stirlingshire,the goalkeeper had spells with Albion Rovers and Dundee before joining Tottenham Hotspur. Britton played a total of 40 matches for the White Hart Lane club between 1926–27.[2] He ended his career at Celtic.
