Isabelle Delannoy

Isabelle Delannoy, born in March 14th 1972 is a French environmentalist.

She had co-write the screenplay of the movie Home, realized by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, and is the author of the book L'économie symbiotique in 2017.

She had a schooling of engineer in agriculture. Isabelle Delannoy is today a specialist of the sustainable developement in France and creator of the theory of the symbiotic economy.

Biography

Youth and studies

She makes her studies of engineer in agriculture at the Higher Institute of Agriculture Rhône-Alpes between 1991 and 1996.[1]

Career

After a start in the research, the regulations and the lobby for organic farming, she had find her way toward the popularization of the ecological issues. She joins the agency of Yann Arthus-Bertrand and takes part in his book Earth from above that becomes a global success.

Since then, Isabelle Delannoy had become an author largely distributed on all the mediums : publishing, Internet, cinema, television. Her expertise on the field of the sustainable development is behind the first observatory of the French's carbon footprint via her consultancy firm Green Inside.

She becomes thereafter profesor of biology in high school during several years.[2]

In 2009, she co-writes the movie Home make by Yann Arthus-Bertrand. Broadcast globally in June 5th 2009, Home establishes a picture of the world at the dawn of the third millenium, and make aware of the personal link that bind the Mankind to the Earth.

Between January 2010 and June 2013, Isabelle Delannoy share her ecological lifestyle on a day-to-day basis in a column of the programme Comment ça va bien ! presented by Stéphane Bern, broadcast on France 2.

She runs since 2005 the blog eco-echos.com and takes part in the collective blog ecoloinfo.com, founded by Anne-Sophie Novel.

She founds in 2012 the structure Do Green to promote the template of the symbiotic economy.

In June 2013, Isabelle Delannoy takes part in the commission Innovation 2030[3] established by the President of the Republic in April 19th 2013.
