Heo Gi (hanja: 許奇) was a 23rd descendant of Heo Hwang-ok and was dispatched to Tang dynasty as an ambassador of Silla. Heo Hwang-ok was a queen of Satavahana dynasty and an empress of Suro of Geumgwan Gaya who was a first king of Gaya confederacy. Lee clan, a surname of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang, was bestowed to Heo Gi (hanja: 許奇) because Heo Gi (hanja: 許奇) helped Emperor Xuanzong of Tang evacuate when An Lushan Rebellion happened. When Lee Heo Gi (hanja: 李許奇) returned to Silla, Gyeongdeok of Silla awarded Prince of Soseong (hanja: 邵城伯) to Lee Heo Gi (hanja: 李許奇). Then, Lee Heo gyeom, a 10th descendant of Lee Heo Gi (hanja: 李許奇), began Incheon Lee clan.[1]
