The school is a member of the Canyon Athletic Association and an associate member of the Arizona Interscholastic Association. This school is also a member of the Cambridge international program offering the AICE and Grand canyon diploma along with college level courses.

Imagine Prep at Surprise celebrated the "Curbside Commencement", a graduation consisting of five students at a time over a period of two days for the class of 2020. This was the first event of its kind held by the school.

Going into the 2020-2021 school year the school plans on offering either a fully online learning experience or a heavily modified in school learning experience which may include: Teachers moving from class to class, students being sat apart from each other, and eating in classroom as opposed to in the bistro.

Honored Teachers


Imagine Prep at Surprise has two teachers who have won the Imagine Schools National Teacher of the year award.

2018

Ms. Alexa Pupo, an English and History teacher at Imagine Prep, was chosen as the campus teacher selection for the competition. The process involves several regions, and submitting portfolios, and holding interviews. She was later chosen as 1 in 4 regional competitors.

The National competition involved video recommendations/praises from students and parents as well as a refined portfolio and more interviews. On May 21, 2019, Ms. Pupo won the competition, along with a prize that included recognition of her and the school, as well as prize money.[2]

2019

Mrs. Sara Camren, the 9th grade IGCSE Biology (The Cambridge’s International General Certificate of Secondary Education) teacher at Imagine Prep Surprise was chosen as the 2019 Imagine Schools Teacher of the Year. [3]

2020

Mr. Jacob Culver was honored in March of the 2020 school yearn with the prestigious "Melon Award" signed by many members of the senior class as well as several of his former coworkers, he received this award for his outstanding teaching and relationship with the student body. The committee giving the him the award was fondly refereed to as "Operation Culver Melon" [4]
