ImageInfo Sky

ImageInfo UAVs are Chinese UAVs developed by Beijing ImageInfo Co., Ltd. (ImageInfo, 北京航天星图科技有限公司), a major supplier of flight control system (FCS), namely, ZY-01 FCS, and various flight control software for UAVs. ImageInfo has expanded its business by venturing into developing UAVs by jointly developing UAVs with other Chinese UAV developers.

Sky-01A

Sky-01A is the first UAV developed by ImageInfo, and it is a hand-held micro air vehicle (MAV) of modular design. The electrically powered MAV utilizes GPS navigation and its data link is resistant to interference / jamming. There is no special requirement for operator training so Sky-01A can be rapidly deployment by almost anyone with just basic knowledge instead of requiring experts.[1]

Sky-01C

Sky-01C is a gasoline-powered UAV in twin-boom layout with inverted v-tail. Sky-01C is constructed of carbon fiber composite and has a tricycle landing gear system. Propulsion is provided by a two-blade propeller driven by a pusher engine mounted at the rear end of the fuselage. Specification:[2][3]

  • Length: 2.2 m
  • Wingspan: 3.9 m
  • Max take-off weight: 42 kg
  • Payload: 6.4 kg
  • Max speed: 150 km/h
  • Cruise speed: 90 – 110 km/h
  • Ceiling: 4 km
  • Endurance: 3.5 h
  • Remote control radius: 10 – 30 km
  • Max wind scale allowed for operation: 6
  • Launch: catapult
  • Recovery: parachute or taxiing

Sky-02

Sky-02 is a gasoline-powered UAV in twin-boom layout. Sky-02 is constructed of carbon-fiber composite and has a tricycle landing gear system. Propulsion is provided by a two-blade propeller driven by a pusher engine mounted at the rear end of the fuselage. Specification:[2][4]

  • Length: 2.6 m
  • Wingspan: 4.7 m
  • Wing area: 1.9 m2
  • Height: 0.9 m
  • Max take-off weight: 80 kg
  • Empty weight: 40 kg
  • Payload: 20 kg
  • Fuel: 17 L
  • Max speed: 170 km/h
  • Cruise speed: 110 km/h
  • Ceiling: 4 km
  • Endurance: 4 h
  • Remote control radius: 150 km
  • Launch: taxiing
  • Recovery: taxiing

XT-01X

XT-01X is a MAV that somewhat resembles a miniature Boeing Insitu ScanEagle without winglets, but with swept wings at sweeping backward at greater angle. Propulsion is provided by a two-blade propeller driven by a pusher engine mounted at the rear end of the fuselage. Specification:[2][5]

  • Length: 1.29 m
  • Wingspan: 2.5 m
  • Height: 0.56 m
  • Max take-off weight: 6.5 kg
  • Battery: 2.7 kg
  • Payload: 1 kg
  • Max speed: 110 km/h
  • Cruise speed: 80 – 100 km/h
  • Ceiling: 1.5 km
