History
Histoire was launched on 14 July 1997 by France Télévisions. In 2004, the TF1 Group acquired Histoire and privatized it because the channel is public. Groupe TF1 becomes the owner of Histoire as of July 17, 2015. Histoire becomes Histoire TV from December 4, 2019 at 20.40
