Heritage Crafts Association

The Heritage Crafts Association (HCA) is a registered United Kingdom charity[1] set up to support and promote traditional crafts.

The charity was launched at the Victoria & Albert Museum in March 2010,[2] with a membership programme for supporters.[3]

The HCA initiated a 30-minute adjournment debate on the state of traditional crafts in Westminster in June 2009.[4]

In May 2017, in association with The Radcliffe Trust, the Association published the HCA Red List of Endangered Crafts.[5] This publication was also covered on Woman's Hour.[6]

The HCA holds the secretariat of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Craft, which first met on 16 October 2018 and is chaired by John Hayes MP.
