Hani (also Hany; Arabic: هانئ hānī' "happy" or in Hawaiian "To move lightly; to touch" ) is a masculine Arabic given name and a unisex Hawaiian given name. Also Korean and Indonesian feminine given name. It is also a girl’s name in Hungarian, a diminutive of the name Ann.

Hani means happy and easygoing; its origin is from the history of the Phoenicians as the son of God Hani-Baal who is known to be a Great War general who attacked the Romans and was the first to introduce and use elephants in warfare.
