Gramola

Gramola is an Austrian an offshoot of the British-Czech record producer of the same name founded in 1924 in Vienna and has become active in all areas of classical music.[1] It initially focused on the great composers of Viennese classical music such as Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, and Schubert, but has since shifted its focus to CD production and the promotion of young Austrian musicians, or musicians currently living in Austria. With currently up to 70 new releases annually, predominantly of Austrian artists, the company is the biggest classical music label in Austria. Gramola currently collaborates with exil.arte, an organization dedicated to the reception, research, and preservation of works by Austrian composers and musicologists who were ostracized, exiled, or murdered during National Socialism.[2]
