Gordon D. Love

Gordon D Love is an optics researcher and Professor of physics at Durham University, U.K.[1] He is noted for work in Adaptive Optics,[2][3] Liquid Crystals,[4] and switchable lenses. He is also known for being one of the pioneers of applying adaptive optics in industry and medicine[5] (as opposed to astronomy and military optics).
