Ghazi Hur Mujahid Faqeer Arbelo Katpar

Faqeer Arbelo (Urdu غازی فقیر اربیلو کٹپر ) was a civilian war hero of the Pakistan and Indian war of 1965. He died on 10th July 2011.[1][2] Faqeer Arbelo Katpar is awarded Nishan-e-Shujaat Sitar-e-Shujat in 1965[3][4]

His name was Arbelo but mureed of Pir of Pagaro VIIIIII add Faqir with their name due to famous lines of Allama Muhammad Iqbal - تو غنی از ہر دو عالم من فقیر - روز محشر عذر ہائے من پذیر - ور حسابم را تو بینی ناگزیر - از نگاہ مصطفے پنہاں بگیر

Achivements

He had a force of only 500 Hur Muhajdeens who captured 2200 Square KM of land in Rajasthan India. He was Mureed of Pir of Pagaro VII and defended the border between Pakistan and India from Khokhrapar to Rahimyarkhan.[5]
