Friedrich Porges

Friedrich Porges (1890–1978) was an Austrian screenwriter and film director of the silent era. He also worked as a film critic.[1] Of Jewish background, he fled Vienna following the Anchluss of 1938 and emigrated to Britain. In the postwar era he worked in the United States.
