Freistaat Schwenten

Free State of Schwenten (Polish: Republika Świętnieńska, Wolne Państwo Świętno, German: Freistaat Schwenten) was an independent state proclaimed in 1919 with the capital in Schwenten. The declaration of independence had defensive role, local government was aware of the Polish uprisings in Poland. It survived 7 months until it joined Germany.[1]
