History

The school buildings and fieldhouse received $300,000 in funding from the Green Communities program in 2019.[3]

Academics

The school offers 16 Advanced Placement classes and partners with Mount Wachusett Community College and Fitchburg State University for course offerings and college credit programs.[4] Students in the school's Honors Academy receive priority admission to Fitchburg State University.[5]

According to U.S. News and World Report, the student body is half Hispanic, a third White, with smaller percentages of African Americans and Asian students.[6]

Athletics

The school includes the Crocker Field for athletic events[7] and has various sports teams.[8] The school has a longstanding football rivalry with Leominster High School. They played their first game on October 20, 1894. They also played on Thanksgiving in 1899 with the result a 0-0 tie.[9]
