It was developed by British studios X2 Games and First Touch Games and released on May 6, 2011. New editions of the game include FTS 14 and FTS 15. Further releases include DLS19, featuring more clubs and players. The latest release is Dream League Soccer 20, in 2020.

Critical reception

The game has a rating of 90% on Metacritic, based on 8 critic reviews.[2]

Sequels

First Touch Soccer has seven sequels, named First Touch Soccer 2014, First Touch Soccer 2015,Dream League Soccer 2016, Dream League Soccer 2017, Dream League Soccer 2018, Dream League Soccer 2019 and Dream League Soccer 2020.

First Touch Games has subsequently removed First Touch Soccer titles and continues to focus on the Dream League Soccer franchise, which follows a typical free-to-play model.

Dream League Soccer 2020, offers both a career mode and an online mode where gamers can play matches to earn promotion to higher divisions and tiers in both modes respectively, as well as exhibition mode where players play one off matches against real team controlled by AI. A multiplayer mode is also available, where one can 1v1 their friends.

3: Don't spend gems on coaches. Release players instead.
