It draws its membership from a disparate group of yokels that would have been most at home in UKIP when it were a thing.
The party received confirmation of its official party status from the Electoral Commission on 13 September 2017.[1] The party won its first seat to Bolton Council by winning a by-election on 8 March 2018.[2][3] Two months later, the party won two more seats in the 2018 Bolton Council election.[4] In the 2019 Bolton Council election, the party won two further seats. [5][6]
After the 2019 local election, Despite Labour having 24 elected councillors and an overall majority of 2000 more votes, Farnworth and Kearsley First agreed with the Liberal Democrats who have 6 elected councillors, UKIP who have 3 elected councillors and Horwich & Blackrod First Independents who have 2 elected councillors, to give control of the council to the Conservative Party who have 20 elected councillors.[7][8]
