Fahd bin Turki bin Abdulaziz Al Saud

Fahd bin Turki bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (born August 1959)[1] is a Saudi Arabian prince and military officer who serves as the commander of the Saudi-led coalition joint forces operating in Yemen.

Early life and education

Prince Fahd bin Turki is the son of Prince Turki II bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. He joined the Saudi military in 1983 and completed the U.S. Army Field Artillery School in 1984. He also has a master's degree in international business administration from the U.S. International University.[2]

Career

Prince Fahd was appointed the commander of the Saudi-led coalition joint forces in February 2018 by royal decree. Previously he was the commander of the Royal Saudi Land Forces since April 2017. He also previously led the Saudi special forces and paratroops.[2][3][4]

Personal life

One of Prince Fahd's sons, Abdulaziz, was named deputy governor of Al Jouf province in 2017.[5]
