The wingspan is about 78 mm. Both wings are dull greyish brown, with erect dark broadish postmedian stripes. The forewings have a subbasal, erect, slightly oblique dark line angled below the costa and there are four hyaline spots below each other, as well as a fifth minute one near the angled line. The hindwings have three small hyaline spots below each other, and two smaller ones below each other nearer the base. The posterior margin and long tail are rather darker than the rest of the wing.[3]
