History
Erica Messer Productions started life in 2013, when Criminal Minds showrunner Erica Messer signed a deal with ABC Studios to produce TV shows, for broadcast and cable.[1]
The studio is successful when the studio's debut program, the spin-off of Criminal Minds was picked up by CBS in 2015, which was Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.[2]
