Emilio Osorio

Emilio Osorio Marcos is a Mexican actor and singer, son of Mexican producer Juan Osorio and Cuban-Mexican actress Niurka Marcos.[1]

Career

Osorio debuted as an actor in 2013 in the telenovela, Porque el amor manda, where he also showed his talent in singing and dancing.[2] In 2014, he had his breakout role in the telenovela Mi corazón es tuyo where he portrayed Sebastián Lascurain, one of the seven children of Jorge Salinas' character.[3] Osorio also took part in the musical theater of Mi corazón es tuyo.[4] In 2015, he had a role in the series Como dice el dicho playing Ramón in the episode "No juzgues a tus semejantes".[5] Osorio joined the cast for Sueño de amor. The series aired from February 22 to August 21, 2016. In 2017–2019 he participated in the telenovela Mi marido tiene familia alongside Daniel Arenas, Zuria Vega, and Silvia Pinal and plays Aristóteles Córcega Castañeda, a young man with self-esteem problems and attention deficit, who manages to get ahead despite the situations that life presents him. Thanks to this character, he has become known due to his homosexual relationship within he has become known due to his homosexual relationship within the soap opera, along with his partner Joaquín Bondoni, who plays Cuauhtémoc "Temo" López, a young protector and with a secret that many identify with.

He also participated in the musical work "Mi marido tiene más familia" called "Aristemo el musical", and he has released several promotional singles for his first studio album such as "Juegos de Amor", "Niña", "Si al Final tengo tu Amor", "Labios de Miel", "La Novia de mi Amigo", "Viernes Otra Vez" and "Bronceados de Amor."

In 2019, Emilio joins the cast of Juntos el corazón nunca se equivoca, where he shares credits with Joaquín Bondoni and again plays the same character as Aristóteles Córcega. In this series, there are also Nikolas Caballero, Ale Müller, Eduardo Barquín, Gabriela Platas and the Cuban actor, musician and singer, Sian Chiong.
