Dolphin Bay Dream Water Park
Dolphin Bay Dream Water Park (温州海豚湾水上乐园), located in Pingyang County (平阳县), Wenzhou City (温州), was a water park and indoor spa. This water park covers an area of more than 80.000 squares meters with a total construction area of more than 24,000 square meters. It opened in July 2014 and closed due to bankruptcy in 2017.[1][2]

History
The original planned investment was 300 million yuan but the total investment was estimated to be over 350 million yuan. It was developed in two phases. The first phase was an open-air water park project, with a total estimated investment of 180 million yuan, which was put into trial operation in late June, 2014 and opened in early July, 2014. The second phase is an indoor spa and more than 1,000 acres of agricultural leisure sightseeing tourism project, with a total estimated investment of 210 million yuan, and construction began in October 2014.[3]
The water park included: plaza, reception center, changing shower room, Chinese and Western restaurants, VIP restrooms, children ’s paddling pool, large water village, big horn, soaring sky, giant bowl, cobra slide, rotating slide, rainbow competition High-speed slides, skateboard surfing, tsunami pools, lazy rivers, office buildings, dormitories, exhibition halls, while the indoor spa included changing showers, standard swimming pools, spa pools, SPAs.[3]
Bankrupt
The construction party Xue Moukai and Dolphin Bay Company signed a "Construction Contract for Wooden Structure Houses in Wenzhou Dolphin Bay Dream Water Park". After that, Xue Moukai organized personnel to enter the park for construction and delivered it to the park in August of the same year. The total cost of the entire project is about 3.18 million yuan, and Dolphin Bay Company only paid about 1.54 million yuan, and the remaining more than 1.6 million yuan has been in arrears. Xuemou Kai pursued with no avail, and he took Dolphin Bay Company to court in one go. Afterwards, after the court reached an agreement between the two parties, if Dolphin Bay Company could pay RMB 500,000 to the construction party Xue Moukai before January 31, 2015 and October 31, respectively, Xue Moukai would give up the rest of the project. On the contrary, Xue Moukai can apply to the court for compulsory execution and recover all the sum of more than 1.6 million yuan from Dolphin Bay Company.
In August 2015, seeing that the mediation agreement was not fulfilled at all, Xue Moukai applied to the Pingyang Court for enforcement, but the court found that Dolphin Bay Company had no obvious assets to implement.
In February 2017, Xue Moukai applied to the court for bankruptcy and liquidation of Dolphin Bay Company on the grounds that Dolphin Bay Company could not pay off its due debts and obviously lacked solvency, and Dolphin Bay Company did not raise any objection within the statutory period. The Pingyang court has accepted this bankruptcy liquidation case.[1]
