Devonport Column

Designed by John Foulston as part of the development of the town of Devonport, Plymouth, England, Devonport Column was built in 1824.[1] It is 124 feet tall, and thanks to a Heritage Lottery grant[2] can be climbed via the spiral 137 stepped staircase to enjoy the view over Plymouth and Dartmoor.[3] It is situated next to Devonport Guildhall, also designed by Foulston.
