  • Ionospheric prediction service

  • Patents of inventions and designs, and trade marks
  • Weights and measure
  • National standards
  • Consumer affairs

Structure

The Department was a Commonwealth Public Service department, staffed by officials who were responsible to the Minister for Science and Consumer Affairs.[1]
