Dejan Čukić

Dejan Čukić (Serbian Cyrillic: Дејан Чукић; born 25 November 1966) is a Serbian-Danish actor. He appeared in the Wallander TV film series as Lars in The Ghost, based on the novel by Henning Mankell. He also played Cardinal Giulano della Rovere in the TV drama series Borgia.

  • When returning to FR Yugoslavia in spring 2000 to do research for a documentary for the Danish national broadcaster (Danmarks Radio), thirty-three-year-old Čukić, a Yugoslav citizenship holder, was briefly detained by the Yugoslav Armed Forces (VJ) for not having served his mandatory army service.
