Deepak Ohri

Deepak Ohri (born February 9, 1968) is an Indian entrepreneur,[1] business leader, public speaker,[2] guest lecturer,[3] and mentor.[4]

Early career

Graduating from the Institute of Hotel Management and the Indian Institute of Management, he started his career at the Indian Tourism Development Corporation before working at some hotel groups. Ohri's tenure has included hospitality groups Kempinski Hotels and Taj Hotels.[5]

In 2003 Ohri founded lebua Hotels & Resorts.

Starting with one single restaurant within the State Tower Bangkok, he then took the reins of Challenge Hospitality, re-branding it as lebua. Today, the State Tower Bangkok houses two hotels and 11 restaurants and bars.[6]

The brand now also has properties two properties in India[7] and one in New Zealand.

Guest lecturing

Ohri has lectured at business schools including Harvard Business School,[23] Columbia University,[24] NYU Stern School of Business,[1] and MIT Sloan.[25] He also provides mentorship to business students, giving them career advice and industry insight.

gollark: If it was an actual char vector thingy, it would not be null terminated.
gollark: In sane languages, instead of being null-terminated, a string is basically a byte vector/array/whatever which has an actual length, reducing all the buffer overflow problems and making it so you can get lengths without iterating over the whole string.
