Electoral history

The 2008 mayoral election took an unusual twist when Knudson's opponent, Todd Erskine, suspended his campaign and released an endorsement of Knudson.[3] "I think he's more qualified for the job," Erskine said of Knudson. "So I'm supporting him."[4]

Knudson was re-elected over challenger Kevin Hartman in 2010 receiving 93% of the vote. Knudson declined to run for reelection in 2016.
