Cyprus Academy of Sciences, Letters and Arts

The Cyprus Academy of Sciences, Letters and Arts (Greek language: Κυπριακή Ακαδημία Επιστημών, Γραμμάτων και Τεχνών) has been launched by the President of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades in 2018. Its aim is to recognise the scientific and cultural achievements of the country’s scientists and to promote the scientific work within the Republic of Cyprus.[1]

On April 10, 2019, Prof. Euphrosyne Rizopoulou-Egoumenidou and the president of the Cyprus Institute, Prof. Costas N. Papanicolas were elected as founding members of the Cyprus Academy of Sciences, Letters and Arts.[2]

The Cyprus Academy of Sciences, Letters and Arts, will have its temporary location at the Phaneromene Square in Nicosia.[3]
