Cole Pratt (born 13 August 2002) is a Canadian swimmer.[1]

Career

He competed at 2019 World Aquatics Championships[2] in the men's 200 metre backstroke where he finished 26th overall as well as the 200 metre individual medley where he finished 36th. At the 2019 World Junior Championships in Budapest Cole competed in the 50m backstroke, 100 meter backstroke, 200m backstroke, 200m individual medley, the 4x100 metre freestyle relay (men & mixed), the 4x100 metre medley relay (men & mixed). He won a bronze medal in the men's 4x100 metre medley relay swimming the backstroke leg in 54.79.[3]

Pratt broke the men's 200m backstroke Canadian record SCM at the December 2019 Ontario Junior International[4] (OJI) swim meet in a time of 1:51.30.[5] Cole is tied for the record for the most medals ever won at a single Canada Games by a male athlete with ten. Pratt won those ten medals including five gold at the 2017 Canada Games in Winnipeg.[6]
