Choi Heong Yuen Bakery

Choi Heong Yuen Bakery (Chinese: 咀香園餅家; Jyutping: zeoi2 hoeng1 jyun4 beng2 gaa1; Portuguese: Pastelaria Choi Heong Yuen) is one of Macau's best-known bakery chains, specializing in traditional pastries, particularly the almond cookie.[1][2] The chain was founded in 1935 by a Macanese immigrant from Zhongshan named after the homonymic Ju Xiang Yuan Food (咀香园食品) in Zhongshan but now an independent business.[2]

As the name Choi Heong Yuen is registered in Macau and Hong Kong while the name Ju Xiang Yuan is registered in mainland China, Choi Heong Yuen runs as the Fifth Day of the Tenth Month Bakery (十月初五饼家) in mainland China.
