Chahlari Ghat Bridge (also called Chahlari Ghat Setu चहलारी घाट in Hindi) is a bridge over the river Ghaghra connecting Bahraich in the east to Sitapur in the west of Uttar Pradesh.[1] Its length is 3,260 metres (10,700 ft).[2] and it is the tenth longest river bridge in India and longest road bridge over river in Uttar Pradesh.[3] In 2006 PWD Minister UP, Shivpal Singh Yadav, laid stone of this bridge, completing the promise of an old socialist leader Mukhtar Anis who led thousands of people from reusa to Lucknow on foot for this bridge. The bridge was completed in 2017 when the then chief minister Akhilesh Yadav And Mukhtar Anis inaugurated it. Edit by- Mohd Arif
