History

Cedar Park Entertainment was established on January 4, 2018 by David Ayer, and former head of programming at Audience Network, Chris Long. Its primary goal was to produce films and television shows.[1] Its first film Cedar Park is planning on to produce will going to be The Tax Collector.[2] On June 21, 2018, it set a first look deal with Entertainment One, and it will cover television series, both scripted and unscripted.[3]

On May 11, 2019, it was announced that Fox will receive a pickup for Cedar Park's first television series, Deputy.[4] On January 23, 2020, it acquired Evergreen Valley Productions, an unrelated company, headed by Darryl C. Scott.[5]
