Buddleja davidii 'White Bouquet' is one of the older white cultivars, raised by Hungarian émigrée Sigmund Tarnok at his New Orleans nursery and patented in 1942,[1] but still regarded as one of the best white-flowering varieties available. [2]

Description

'White Bouquet' typically grows to a height and spread of 3.0 × 5.0 m, its arching branches bearing large, < 30 cm long, panicles of white flowers with yellow eyes, complemented by grey-green foliage. [1]

Cultivation

'White Bouquet' has become widely established in the USA and the UK. A specimen is grown as part of the NCCPG national collection held by Longstock Park Nursery in the UK. [3] Hardiness: USDA zones 6–9[2]
