Bob White (cricketer)

Robert Arthur White (born 6 October 1936) is a former English first-class cricketer. He made his county debut in 1958 with Middlesex. In 1966 he moved to Nottinghamshire and played with them until 1980 when he retired and became a first-class umpire. White was regarded purely as a batsman until joining Notts. Here he developed into an off spinner and batted increasingly low in the order.
