Billy Spittle

William Arthur Spittle (19 March 1893 – 12 February 1979) was an English professional football inside forward who played in the Football League for Leicester City and Arsenal.[1][3]

Personal life

Spittle served as a corporal in the 17th (Service) Battalion of the Duke of Cambridge's Own (Middlesex Regiment) during the First World War.[4][5]
