Basant Bhatt

Basant Bhatt is an Indian actor who appears in Television Serials.[1] He made his television debut in the series Suryaputra Karn where he played the lead role of teenage Karna and Karna's son Vrishasena. Currently he is seen playing the role of Kartikeya and Balarama in Vignaharta Ganesh and RadhaKrishn respectively.

Career

Basant Bhatt was born on 23 January 1994 in Bageshwar, Uttarakhand. He rose to fame with the role in his debut show Suryaputra Karn, directed by Kamal Monga and produced by Siddharth Kumar Tewary where he played the role of young Karna. Later he played the role of Karna's son Vrishasena in the same show as the director wanted to cast a person who could match the intensity of Karna.

He has worked in many TV commercials and print shoots. He has also worked in some episodic TV serials like Crime Patrol and also with popular actresses like Anshu Malik, Preetika Chauhan, Riyanka Chanda and Aishwarya Raj.

Basant is currently doing supporting role in the Vignaharta Ganesh serial along with Akanksha Puri in Sony TV and in RadhaKrishn along with Sumedh Mudgalkar and Mallika Singh in Star Bharat.

Basant had to leave Vignaharta Ganesh for a brief period of time due to date issues but he was brought back.[2]
